Marching Band FAQs
When does band camp start?
All Percussion, Colorguard, and Leadership students begin the first week in August.
All Members have full day band camp the two weeks prior to school starting.
Is band camp really that important?
YES! You learn all the visual fundamentals, such as body awareness, choreography, and marching technique.
YES! You learn musical fundamentals, such as breathing, tone, tuning, timing, and technique.
YES! You make a ton of friends and get to know everyone in the band!
YES! It is mandatory for all members.
